British Bigfoot?

I'm a title

Moose running from guy on ATV

We've all seen the videos that we know are guys in gorilla suits.  These are not those videos.  These are the ones that people claim are real but upon further investigation and/or enhancements we find out that either  1.  they were hoaxing, 2.  were hoaxed themselves or 3.  just misidentified objects or animals.  We are not the 'end all, be all' when it comes to judging videos.  I am quite sure we will get messages about how someone knows a guy who met the dude that posted the video and its for real.  We are just posting the videos that pretty much have a consensus of being fake-a-roonies in the Bigfoot community.

This was interesting at first but is clearly a moose running down a hill as an ATV approaches.  Watch closely in slow-mo.  Some people are still convinced it was a Bigfoot.

Rick Dyer Hoax #1:

Bigfoot In A Freezer

Back in 2008, Rick Dyer and Matt Whitton contacted Tom Biscardi and said they had a Bigfoot on ice.  They were paid a handsome sum for their corpse and it turned out to be a big joke.  A costume with animal entrails on top for effect.  This is Dyer's first hoax but certainly not his last.

I'm quite skeptical of any bigfoot-like footage coming out of the UK.  There is not much of the country that isn't covered by CCTV.  Seriously, you can see light through the creature as it emerges from behind the tree.  Good job, boneheads!

LOTS MORE TO COME...

Rick Dyer Hoax #2

Claims He Has A Body... For A Movie... And No One Can See It... But Believe Me!!

In late 2012, Rick Dyer was at it again.  He said while shooting a documentary with Minnow Films, he shot a Bigfoot he baited with a rack of ribs.  He said he had it in Nevada and absolutely no one could see it... except for Musky Allen.  Then Facebook/Findbigfoot got completely in bed with them making a mockery and a huge mess of everything.  Goes to show you...Never trust a used car salesman(Dyer)!!!

Beacon Bigfoot

This one showed a bit of promise.  The video wasn't short.  It looked like it actually caught a fish.  And it looked ape-like.  Too bad it looks like the bigfoot modernized his wardrobe.

Ketchum's Matilda

So the Erickson Project / Matilda footage turned out to be a sham.  Still, Dr. Melba Ketchum is threatening to sue over posting these videos and pictures online citing copyright infringement.  If you ask me it looks like a high quality Wookiee costume.  And she supposedly got Bigfoot DNA from it?  Yeah right!!!

The Alberta Sasquatch

I'm always skeptical when a person has a bigfoot caught out in the open and get one good photo and thats it.  Why not more?  Why not video?  It had no where to go but only got one photo. This is why context is just as important as content.  You may have the best photo the world has ever seen of Bigfoot--caught in the open, clear image, close enough to see features, unquestionably not a suit-- and people will still wonder why you only got one photo off.  Unfortunately this pic didn't pass the smell test.  Kudo's to Mark at KootenaySasquatch for the image enhancement and breakdown.

The Trailcam Photo

This story started with a call into an internet radio show about a bigfoot sighting.  The caller said he caught a photo on his trailcam of the beast.  In the following days a photo surfaces with no info and no contact number or location.  Hmmm...  always seems fishy.  As it turns out, some eagle-eyed enthusiasts noticed that it looked like an ad they had seen for hearing aids.  Sure enough, it was a match.  Some morons have nothing constructive to do with their time but mess with other people.  No doubt this was perpetrated by a 30-something guy that still lives with his parents.  Seems he got this from a magazine targeted at the senior demographic.  What a joke! (The person, that is...not the hoax)

Hall of Fake

A Guy in a Gorilla Suit Tries Using a Prop To Lend Credibility

On my Hall of Fake I said there wouldn't be guys in gorilla suits but I will have to make an exception for this obvious and poorly attempted hoax.  I find it amazing that there are still bigfoot websites out there that are trying to legitimize this video. It is a guy in a gorilla suit!!! The head moves completely separate from the rest of the suit, no coned head, and the cameraman says and does nothing. Not a peep, not a holy crap, NOTHING. Not even shaking.  This is garbage and a waste of time.  I am now dumber having watched it!

The Crypo Crew did a good job with this one.  The people arguing for this will say that the mouth moves so it has to be real, not a mask.  But if you notice the hands right at the last second, the glove comes off.  Sorry!  Better luck next time hoaxers.  Here's some advice too.  Next time make the video longer and actually use some audio in it.

The Gaia Creature

Pool-Squatch 100% Fake

I am happy to present the Poolsquatch is indeed 100% fake.  As long as you watch this video on a small screen it seems convincing enough.  Blow it up to full screen(I put it on the TV via HDMI) and you can see the sleeves of the costume dangling off the persons arms.  I've watched breakdowns of this video and they mention that at the time that the video was shot that those particular models of chair might not have existed, and the gait didn't quite look right, and numerous other mentions.  Sometimes we miss the forest for the trees, don't we?  Obvious fakery.

Greenbrier Bigfoot Hoax

This photo has been floating around the internet for quite some time now and it is no more believable now than it was then.  It was taken from a trailcam that the Greenbrier golf course put up to see what wildlife was around their property.  They eventually came up with this photo of something standing near a tree stump.  They swear no editting has been done to the photo but I beg to differ.  Take note of the shapes circled in red and blue.  They are identical, meaning someone copied and pasted bits of the photo to cover up something they didn't want everyone to see.  Definite fakery in my opinion.  Whether the Greebrier people were in on it, though, I couldn't say.
